Like every fast-urbanizing demand center, Goa has been struggling to balance the place of its natural resource management vis-à-vis its global city-state infra-ambition. The workshop focused on a closed group discussion with subject experts, field agents, academia, community, and administrative representatives engaging on a common platform to understand and work on the existential question of the state of urban rivers. What is the role of the river within the state-city framework, especially when the cities aspire and engage to become resilient for the future?
